Phal. cornu-cervi 'red', autre photo
Pas chattaladae , but for sure it can be a 'chattaladae' descendant.
It was labeled 'red' and you can be sure they would have labeled it "chattaladae" if it was, because it would have been triple the price
I chose from seedlings and this was the only solid red. Others from this batch were quite poorly red.
We also have 'chattaladae' from Robert Beddard (Dr. Grove) F1 generation.
...and for those interested in the story of 'Chattaladae':

Actually, the name 'red' doesn't exist, that's why we talk of chattaladae or sanguinea.
For me, a true form of cornu-cervi f. sanguinea is this one :

And you can see the differences, your Phal is full colored in dark red, without markings, for me it's a chattaladae, but I don't know all, fortunately

Re: Phalaenopsis cornu-cervi 'red'
Romain, I see 'red' here as a clonal name (I presume it is here a selfing of a red cornu-cervi, so the tag should probably say "x self") - which you can give any as you know. I could also call it 'strawberry'.
It is of course no var. or fma. (forma). We have to differ between clonal names and described variation or forma.
And chattaladae is not sanguinea, as I understand it. The link to your beautiful example of sanguinea is for sure no 'chattaladae' - as it still has pattern.
Also interesting:

Tu as raison, ce sont 2 formes très différentes.Naturegirl72 a écrit:And chattaladae is not sanguinea, as I understand it.
